This can be the result of a number of different issues, you may wish to check the following:
- Confirm that you have Twitch added as a destination.
- Because our service relies on the Twitch API to function, it is required to have a Twitch destination set on your account to broadcast to.
- Confirm the number of destinations that you're broadcasting to.
- Lightstream currently has a limit of 5 destinations to broadcast to.
- Resetting the stream key on the destination your trying to broadcast to.
- Sometimes if there is an update to your streaming platform, that can result in our service not being able to broadcast to it and resetting the stream key on that platform you're having trouble with can help to resolve this.
- If you're having trouble broadcasting to Twitch, YouTube, and/or Facebook then you will want to reset the stream key on the respective platform and then sign out of Lightstream via our logo at the top-left of the screen and then sign back in as this can help to reauthenticate the connection.
- If you're having trouble with broadcasting to any other destination using our RTMP Destination feature, then you will want to reset the stream key on that platform and confirm that the Ingest/RTMP URL matches as well.
- Sometimes if there is an update to your streaming platform, that can result in our service not being able to broadcast to it and resetting the stream key on that platform you're having trouble with can help to resolve this.
